Hydrographic Survey Presentation & Analysis
One of BebbCart's key services is using hydrographic survey information to present it in a useful way and analyse the data.
The main ways in which survey data can be presented includes:
● Hydrographic Soundings
● Contours
● Colour Coded Contours
● 3D Perspective Views
● Profiles
The main type of analysis we provide on hydrographic surveys are colour coded difference plots and volume calculations.
This analysis can be performed either:
● Between two hydrographic surveys to determine where there has been accretion or deepening of the seabed. This accretion and deepening can be
quantified as a volume change.
● Between a hydrographic survey and a design level to determine areas of the seabed that are above the design level and therefore require dredging.
The amount of material above and below the design level can be quantified as a volume.
